Bhojpur Mahila Kala Kendra (BMKK) is a women-led nonprofit organising rural women and marginalised communities across Bihar into self-help groups, artisan enterprises and skill-training networks — so that no one remains hungry, unemployed, illiterate or exploited.
Founded in 1993 by a group of socially committed women, BMKK works across the Bhojpur, Madhubani and Darbhanga districts of Bihar. Registered under the Societies Registration Act (2000) and the Foreign Contribution Regulation Act, we run our programmes through grants from national and international donors, community contributions and individual donations.
From USHA Silai Schools to jewellery-making cooperatives, smokeless-chulha health drives to disaster-preparedness training, our work is built block by block, village by village, with the women who lead it.

Every donation goes directly toward vocational training, SHG formation, artisan livelihoods and health outreach in Bhojpur district. BMKK is registered under 12A and 80G — donations from Indian donors are eligible for tax exemption.
