On 8 March 2022, Anita Gupta, Secretary of BMKK, received the prestigious Nari Shakti Puraskar — India's highest civilian award for women — from President Ram Nath Kovind at Rashtrapati Bhavan, New Delhi. The award recognised her contributions to women's empowerment and rural development, having supported over 50,000 rural women through skill development and employment initiatives.
Anita Gupta was felicitated among the national cohort of Nari Shakti Puraskar awardees, honoured for her work as a social entrepreneur building skill development and livelihood pathways for rural women across Bihar.
Anita Gupta received the Brands of India Award from the Ministry of MSME, presented by then Union MSME Minister Giriraj Singh, in recognition of her contributions to rural development and artisan enterprise.
Presented to Bhojpur Mahila Kala Kendra in the Social Enterprise (Micro Enterprises) category by YourStory, in association with the MSME Development Institute, recognising BMKK's impact on community empowerment.
